The Credit Builder Card

A secured credit card works in the same way as a regular (unsecured) credit card. The only difference is that you decide how much credit you need and deposit that amount as security (minimum $500). That deposit becomes your credit limit. This card works well for individuals who cannot qualify for regular credit cards as it helps build or rebuild a better credit rating.

 Non-Reloadable Prepaid Cards

Non-reloadable prepaid cards have fixed denominations and can be purchased (fees and conditions apply) from various Canadian retailers. These cards are often used as gifts or for on-line purchases.  

Reloadable Prepaid Cards

Reloadable prepaid cards can be loaded with a variable amount and are available to purchase at various Canadian retailers (fees and conditions apply).

Depending on the product features, these cards can be reloaded in store, through direct load from your payroll or through online bill payment.
