TORONTO – Monday, December 8th, 2025: Peoples Group is proud to announce that Marie Houde will be joining the organization’s senior leadership team as SVP and Chief Compliance Officer, effective Monday, December 8, 2025.

Marie brings decades of expertise in regulatory compliance and risk management to Peoples Group. Most recently serving as Vice-President and Chief Compliance Officer at Laurentian Bank of Canada, overseeing compliance and privacy standards across the organization. Prior to that, Marie spent over 20 years at RBC in senior leadership roles spanning Enterprise Payments, Global Compliance, Risk Management, and Commercial Banking. Marie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from HEC Montréal, specializing in International Business and Finance.
As SVP and Chief Compliance Officer, Marie will oversee People Group’s compliance function, strengthen its regulatory framework, and support alignment with the Group’s long-term business objectives.
